How to Play

Objective

Guess the mystery country using as few guesses — and as few hints — as possible.

Guesses

  • You have 8 guesses per puzzle.
  • Type a country name and select it from the dropdown, or press Enter.
  • Tab autocompletes to the first match.
  • Each wrong guess reveals a new clue automatically.

Clue Progression

  1. Hard clue — always visible from the start.
  2. Medium clue — revealed after your 1st wrong guess.
  3. Flag clue — revealed after your 2nd wrong guess.
  4. Border clue — revealed after your 3rd wrong guess.

Hints

Three optional hints are available at any time. Click the hint button to reveal it — but each hint you use counts against you.

  • 🗺️ Continent — which continent the country is on.
  • 🏛️ Capital — the capital city.
  • 🔤 Letters — the first and last letter of the country's name.

Daily & Previous Games

A new puzzle is available every day (UTC). Every player worldwide sees the same puzzle on the same day. Use the 📅 Previous button to go back and play any past puzzle you missed.

Scoring

Your result is displayed as X/8 — the number of guesses used. A star 🌟 appears if you solved it with no hints. Share your result with friends!
